🔧 How It Works
Insert the Strap:
The strap (usually polypropylene or PET strapping) is placed around the package and into the tool.
Engage the Ratchet:
As you move the ratchet handle back and forth, the ratchet wheel’s teeth engage the pawl, pulling the strap tighter each time.
One-Way Motion:
The ratchet prevents the strap from loosening by locking movement in the opposite direction — this lets you apply strong tension with minimal effort.
Secure the Strap:
Once tight enough, a sealer/crimper or seal clip is applied to lock the strap in place.
